on Thursday, January 4, Dan Vitchoff was hypnotizing clients in his North Hills
office. Much time has passed since the 18th century when the roots of Hypnosis were
planted; however, the practice has survived several hundred years and continues to
be recognized as a valid and legitimate means of behavioral change, healing and life
changing. Dan Vitchoff sees growth in the use of hypnosis since research and main
stream medical doctors are recognizing the benefits of hypnosis. "I receive
referrals from dentists, cardiologists and general practice professionals", notes
Dan Vitchoff. Vitchoff recognizes the full circle that hypnosis has taken since
the late 1700\'s. As he reflects on the centuries if the use of hypnosis, he shares
the highlights of his studies. As a student of psychology Dan worked to overcome
his own learning disabilities by applying self-hypnosis and an accelerated learning
program to improve his own concentration skills. As Vitchoff began his education
experience in order to improve himself , he has since devoted his studies and
proactive to bringing improvement to the lives of others by serving as a performance
coach as well as psychotherapist. He tells of the uses of hypnosis over the years
